Nature of the research
The materials on this site are descriptive research notes about how Kenyan businesses appear in AI answers. They are observations and benchmark frames, not guarantees, ratings, financial advice or a national scoreboard. AI answers are unstable and change over time; a pattern described here may not reproduce identically on every rerun.
No performance promises
The lab does not promise that any business will be named, cited or ranked by any AI system. It does not run reputation campaigns, remove mentions or guarantee outcomes. Anyone offering such promises in the lab’s name is not acting for the lab.
Composite examples
Scenarios such as the coastal tour operator or the Nakuru farm-supply cooperative are composites built from several observed patterns. They do not describe a single named company and should not be read as claims about a specific business.
Use of materials
You may read, quote and reference the research with attribution to Kivuli Index Lab. You may not present it as your own or use it to imply the lab endorses a product, service or ranking claim.
